Front porch refresh 😍

Was originally just going to repot the snake plant and but the planter was so rotten the bottom fell out when I tried to move. Darn the bad luck. 😅

Our front porch is shaded all day but does get some good indirect bright light. We will see how these new babies do. Well the snake plant isn’t new but I am sure it will appreciate the new soil and room to grow.

Meet Becoming Kristin.

Ever feel like you’re trying to fit a square peg in a round hole? Like no matter how hard you try, the version of yourself you’re chasing just doesn’t seem to fit?

For years, I’ve tried to force myself back into an old identity—the body, the business, the mindset that once felt like home. I told myself that if I could just get back there, I’d feel whole again. But the more I push, the more I realize something I haven’t been ready to admit.

I’m not meant to go back.

And maybe, neither are you.

There’s a strange grief that comes with outgrowing yourself. We hold onto old versions of who we were, convinced they were our best, forgetting the ways we were still struggling, still searching, still unfinished. But what if we let go? What if, instead of forcing ourselves into old expectations, we gave ourselves permission to evolve into something new?

That’s what Becoming Kristin is about.

Not chasing the past, but stepping into what’s next—creatively, freely, boldly.

Because this is a “fitness account”, I guess we could say my workout today was a little manual labor.

Being active and moving your body doesn’t have to be a chore. Find something you love and do more of that!

Stay tuned for my cutting garden. Listen I can decorate the inside of a house and paint like a boss, and while I am a DECENT gardener, I can also kill some shit, so this should be fun 😆
